Creo Pro Final Design...Video and Hinge Mechanism

The image below shows how my hinge works, I set the visibility to 50% on my Creo Pro design so that I can see a "cut through" half way through my design. This allowed me to take screen shots of my design at different stages of the hinge opening. The red hooked part of the lid shows my design decison to leave this section open ended so that it deos not catch on the chassis of the USB.

I was able to capture videos from my Creo Pro work...

In the assembly I placed the pin of the lid on the same axis as the recess for the pin on the body casing. This video shows how the lid will open and close.

Now that my USB casing design is almost complete, I took another video of my assembly which included the USB circuit and chassis.It was useful in testing weather the lid would catch on the USB chassis, luckily I had designed the middle part of the USB so that it had an opening to allow a turning circle around the USB chassis.
