These images show my finished USB in its promotional stand. I feel it is a good promotion for "NUMU" : Nu Music Company which is a music cloud-based app.

Finished USB!

Here is my finished USB. 

It consists of:

- An FDM processed plastic casing (sprayed)

- An acrylic peg (which secures the USB circuit in place)

- A 2mm nylon screw (to attach the hinge pin)

- Vinyl Cut detailing

- The given USB circuit and Chassis.

Almost there!

Above is my final render of my promotional USB, I chose grey for my lid so that it was more distinguishable. You can see that I have added the peg which lights up red. Have a look at my page on manufacturing to see how I went from my CAD model to my CAM product.

Progress

I feel I have made lots of progress over the last week! I have added lots of development in terms of card modelling in my pages. I have also completed my design in Creo Pro, I am really pleased about this as I initially struggled with Creo Pro, though I must admit there are still elements of it I am yet to grasp!

Have a look at my video of my final design, its hows the opening mechanism which took me a while to configure!

Have sent my 3D model to the Rapid Prototype printer so fingers crossed it should all fit together!
